Period Design – Italian Renaissance (Rebirth – 1300-1600)

Definition from the Australia Floral Art Association manual 2006.

“Containers used for this period may be bronze, marble or old Venetian glass. Fruit forms are combined with suitable flowers loosely arranged. Tall symmetry. The impression of richness of all materials should be created. Colours are generally warm with cool accents of blues and greens.”
