to be held on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August 2018 at St Luke’s Hall, Liverpool Street, Scone
PROGRAMME AND SCHEDULE
THURSDAY 16 August
1.00 pm – 8.00 pm Staging of competition classes 1 – 11
FRIDAY 17 August
7.45 am – 9.00 am Staging of classes 1 – 11
All Designs may be brought in ready for staging

SP11 From My Garden (must be home grown)
Floor based display using produce from your garden, in any container which includes flowers, fruit and vegetables. Space allowed 1m square with no height restriction. The Exhibit will be judged on the overall presentation of the display.

9.45 am – 10.00 am Opening and Welcome by NSWFAA President
10.00 am – 10.30 am Floral Art Demonstration by Mary Fairlie-Cunningham (Floristry teacher based in Sydney) – Rhythm with Ribbon
10.30 am – 11.00 am Floral Art Demonstration by Ann Crasti (Event specialist based in Tumbarumba) – The Places You’ll Go
11.00 am – 11.30 am Floral Art Demonstration by Kim Baillie (National and International competitor based in Wangi Wangi) – What The Show Schedule Reveals
11.45 am – 12.15am Judges comments/analysis of exhibits
12.30 am – 1.30pm Lunch
1.30 pm – 2.30pm Bush Floral Art Demonstration by Peter Rainger from Inverell
2.30pm – 3pm Afternoon Tea
3pm – 4pm ‘Come and Have a Go’ Fun Workshop – with members from NSWFAA and Scone Garden Club – All materials supplied, all welcome
4pm – 4.30pm Wearable Flowers Workshop – For those wishing to make a fun piece to wear for the Friendship Dinner
4.30 pm – NSWFAA Judges Meeting
6.30pm FRIENDSHIP DINNER – Scone RSL – ALL WELCOME
SATURDAY 18 AUGUST
8.30 am – 9.30am NSWFAA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING followed by the NSW FAA General Meeting
9.30 am – 10.00 am Morning tea
10.00 am – 10.15 am Opening and Welcome by NSWFAA President
10.15 am – 11.45 am Floral Art Demonstration by Ngaire Gamack (2017 Royal Easter Show Champion based in Canberra ) – Tatami Tsunami
11.45 am – 12.15 pm Floral Art Demonstration by Lanny Pramana (2018 Royal Easter Show Champion based in Sydney) – Spring in Paris
12.15 pm – Competition hints / Class Interpretations / Q&A
Close and dismantling of exhibits

An award for Best in show will be determined by the judges from the 1st place winners of Classes 1-8.

Cost: NSWFAA and Scone Garden Club Members – $25 for 2 day inclusive flat rate – this includes all demonstrations and workshops.
Non Members – Friday – $25; Saturday- $10
Visitors viewing exhibits only – gold coin donation
Individual demonstration/workshop $5 each
