Garland
Definition from the Australia Floral Art Association manual 2006.
“It may be circular – as worn by a bride on her head – or long and flexible when it is used to decorate statues, pillars, walls etc. There are two main construction methods – 1. rope (or similar) to which small bunches of long lasting plant materials are bound with string or wire; 2. floral foam cut into small sections, wrapped in netting and joined together with wire to form a flexible string of sections.”
