Definition from the Australia Floral Art Association manual 2006.
“This is a style which allows the designer’s imagination to run wild although its overwhelming visual feature is its strictly controlled but attractive form. It incorporates discordant blends of colour and shapes. Geometric forms and shapes are often dominant used in bizarre configurations and conflicting lines.
Presentation of the unusual is further achieved by altering natural flowers and foliages, chosen for their form and sculptural qualities, with dyes and paints and the addition of plastics.”
