Parallel – Decorative
Definition from the Australia Floral Art Association manual 2006.
“This style may be arranged to create either a sparse or lush effect.
For a sparse effect, dynamic design is achieved by using only three or four kinds of plant material and repeating parallel groups at different levels with space between each group.
A lush and full effect is achieved by using more plant material and less space between parallel groups.
Plant material may be cut, manipulated, modified etc.”
