Definition from the Australia Floral Art Association manual 2006.

“A profuse, rich, colourful mass design of flowers almost concealing the container. The largest, showiest flowers usually placed at the top of the design. Some flowers were placed in profile or with their backs showing.Little foliage other than on flower stems.Fruit, vegetables and accessories such as bird’s nets and eggs, butterflies scorns, bread, books ¬†are also used.”
