NSWFAA 11th Seminar and Floral Art Show – Garden’s Bounty – will be held at the Galston Community Centre, Sydney, on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 May 2018.
Our Guest Demonstrator and Tutor for Workshops will be:
Jean was born into gardening and flower arranging, her late mother was a great gardener and had a very keen interest in flower arranging.
In 2010 along with co floral artist Pene Brunning, Jean represented Australia, staging the country exhibit at the World Flower Arrangers Show in Boston, USA.
In 2013 Jean competed in the World Flower Show in Dublin, Ireland.
Since becoming a Judge for W.A. Floral Art Society in 2006, Jean has demonstrated at monthly State meetings on many occasions, travelled and competed in many other States in Australia, and taken part in many workshops.
In 2015 she travelled to New Zealand to attend the 50th Anniversary of” Floral Art Society of New Zealand”, competed in an interpretative section, receiving a Highly Commended prize.
In 2016 Jean represented Western Australia, presenting the State Demonstration at the Australian Floral Art Association Convention in Penrith, NSW.
In June 2017 Jean travelled to Barbados to attend the 12th World Flower Show and was successful in taking out 1st place, in class “Archipelago”.
In August 2017 she competed in the W.A. State Championship in Mandurah winning another 1st place.
Jean is currently Chairperson for “Flower Designers Club of Bunbury” which holds basic classes & workshops for keen flower designers..
Apart from her love of flower arranging, Jean has a beautiful garden, that she relishes spending as much time as possible nurturing.
