Objectives of NSW Floral Art Association
Welcome to the NSW Floral Art Association!
We are dedicated to inspiring creativity and passion for flower design across New South Wales. Our association brings together local floral art groups, artists, and enthusiasts to share ideas, nurture talent, and elevate standards throughout Australia and internationally. From hands-on workshops and public demonstrations to qualifying judges and hosting vibrant competitions, we aim to support floral artists at every stage of their journey. Explore our core objectives below to see how we cultivate, teach, and celebrate the art of floral design:
Our Objectives are:
1. To encourage interest and promote in the art of flower design in all its educational and cultural aspects.
2. To foster and co-operate with as many New South Wales Floral Art Groups as possible, so that there will be an exchange of ideas with a view to raising the standards of Floral Artistry throughout New South Wales and Australia.
3. The promotion of floral art activities in all its forms to include demonstrations/workshops/displays by floral artists.
4. Nominate NSW qualified judges and demonstrators when required for competitions
5. To conduct and participate in floral art competitions within the association and with other organisations that conduct floral competitions to maintain and increase the standards of floral artistry.
5. To liaise with:
- Interstate and International Floral Artists
- Floral art groups by membership of the Australia Floral Art Association
- The World Association of Flower Arrangers,
6. To explore opportunities and develop education/training programs to encourage and support the development of floral artists and floral artistry in NSW
