Class 5 ‘Fragile Beauty’ A Miniature Design over 7.5cm and less than 10cm overall. Staged on a tiered stand.

SP11 From My Garden (must be home grown)
Floor based display using produce from your garden, in any container which includes flowers, fruit and vegetables. Space allowed 1m square with no height restriction. The Exhibit will be judged on the overall presentation and creativity of the display.

12.00 pm 12.30 Judges comments/analysis of exhibits
12.30 pm 1.30 Lunch (at own expense)
1.30 pm 3.30 BRING AND MAKE: A Fun and Interactive Workshop. Bring along a container, plant materials and embellishments (optional), to make a design. This may be a container or plant material that has been difficult for you to use in the past as the workshop is an opportunity to work with other designers of all levels to share and learn.
4.30 pm NSWFAA Judges Meeting
6.30 pm FRIENDSHIP DINNER – all welcome
SATURDAY 3rd November

9.30 am 10.00 Morning tea (at own expense)
10.00 am 10.15 Opening and Welcome by NSWFAA President Kim Baillie
10.15 am 11.30 Demonstration by Helen Mitchell – Inspirations from South Africa
11.30 am – 12.15 HOW TO Workshop: Foliage Manipulation – plaiting, braiding, folding, weaving etc. Bring in plant material suitable for this workshop. i.e. leaves: Aspidistra, Typha, Flax, Ivy etc and learn from experts how to give your designs an added dimension. There will be techniques for all levels of designers.
12.15 pm – 1.00 Competition hints / Class Interpretations / Q&A

Cost: NSWFAA – $25 for 2 day inclusive flat rate – this includes all demonstrations and workshops.
Non Members – Friday – $20; Saturday- $15
Visitors viewing exhibits only – gold coin donation
Individual demonstration/workshop $5 each
