Class 7 Textures of the Rainforest- a landscape design (From AFAA Manual – “A design resembling a larger dimensional view; trees, bushes, flowers and soil are represented.”)
Class 8 Breathtaking Beauty on the Horizon
NOVICE CLASSES: refer to Show Rule 21; Bench space 70 cm plant material must predominate
Class 9 Created by Nature
Class 10 Earthly Tones- A Pave design. (From AFAA manual – “Placing of materials close together, with no spaces in between, to form a pattern or covering to the container area. The design must be kept low”.)
Class 11 Fruit & Foliage Basket
JUNIOR CLASSES: Ages 11 to 15; Bench Space – 60cm; plant material must predominate
Class 12 Interaction – floral art inspired by movement
Class 13 Magic From the Garden
JUNIOR CLASSES: Ages 10 and under; Bench space 60cm; plant material must predominate
Class 14 Floral Exhibit in a Cup
Class 15 Magic From the Garden
CLASS 16 – SPECIAL CLASS – Open to all
SP16 From My Garden (must be home grown) –
Space allowed 1m square with no height restriction; may be exhibited by 1 or 2 persons.
Floor based display using produce from your garden/s, may include flowers, fruit and/or vegetables. The Exhibit will be judged on the overall presentation of the display.

9.30am – 9.45am Opening and Welcome by NSWFAA President
9.45am –10.30am Between the Rainforest and the Shore – a musical and floral presentation with Kim Baillie, Ann Crasti and Ngaire Gamack
10.30am -11.15am Demonstration by Ann Crasti
11.30am – 12.15am Workshop with pine cones (Kim Baillie)
12.15pm – 12.45pm Judges comments/analysis of exhibits
12.45pm –1.45pm Lunch
1.45 pm – 2.30pm Demonstration by Ngaire Gamack
2.30pm – 3.30pm Come and Have a Go Workshop – open to all exploring what to do with “problem” containers or plant material
3.30pm – 4.30pm NSWFAA Judges Meeting

An award for Best in Show will be awarded by the judge/s from the 1st place winners of Classes 1 to 11.

- All classes will have grey material on the bench
- Bench space – Classes 1-11 70cm; Classes 12-15 60cm; Class SP16 1m
- Height unlimited
- Horticultural material to predominate
- All exhibits judged from the front and sides.
- Designs may be brought in ready for staging.
- All exhibits judged under the guidelines of the AFAA Manual
- Cost: NSWFAA and Ulladulla Garden Club Members – $25 for 2 day inclusive flat rate – this includes all demonstrations and workshops on both days.
Non Members – Friday – $25, Saturday- $15
Visitors viewing exhibits only – gold coin donation
Individual demonstration/workshop $5 each
